An Orphan's Experience
"A young man works at a fast food restaurant. He hears from a friend there is a website where he can learn about his family. The website requires a free account and when he finishes creating his account he finds a search bar and types in what he knows about his parents.
His parents passed away when he was a baby and he had no memory of them.
Tap, and there is the smiling face of his mother. A couple taps later and there is his father, happy as a man can be holding a baby in his arms.
There was a short obituary note written by his uncle who passed away soon after his parents. The young man reads about who his father is, or was, and begins tearing up.
The young man goes back to the picture of his mother and finds an audio file labelled with his name.
Tap, the voice of his mother pours through the speakers in his earbuds tight and drawn with excitement talking about her little boy and her dreams of the future man he will be.
The boy weeps silently, the words of his mother echoing in his mind long after the recording ends.
Now, the young man became like his father- happy with a wife and kids. He keeps his most important memories where his children will see, hear, and remember them.
The friend who mentioned the website continues to share the location with the people he meets."
